Emily Rosenfeld, M.D. joined Healthy Futures in September 2019. She grew up in Texas, where she attended The University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate degree in Biology and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for her medical degree. She completed her Family Medicine training at University of Colorado/Swedish Family Medicine residency, where she continues to serve as part of the teaching faculty.

Hindes is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physician with active privileges at Swedish Medical Center. He admits through other excellent physicians, according to patient wishes.
He served as Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine, Lutheran Hospital, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado in 1999-2000.
Ms. Lily Juan is a warm and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner, who completed her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Texas, Austin. She received her certification in family nursing from Texas A&M University. She enjoys sharing her love for a healthy lifestyle with her patients and to inspire them to reach their health goals. Lily focuses on preventive health care and treats patients in a structured manner, focusing not just on the ailment but also on the overall well-being of the patient. She believes that two-way communication is the key to good health. Lily is fluently bilingual - she has been speaking both English and Mandarin all of her life. We welcome you to make an appointment to meet her. Lily accepts most all insurances.
Dr. Hindes was Chief Resident (a shared position) at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Department of Family Medicine, when he finished his three-year residency in 1995.
In 1994 he appeared on the MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour to discuss the Clinton health care reform plan.
Dr. Hindes graduated in 1992 with his “M.D.” from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. The “MPH” after his name represents the Master's degree in Public Health which he earned at the same time he was in medical school, also from UNC-Chapel Hill. His main emphases in the School of Public Health were on maternal and child health and also on health care policy. Dr. Hindes is proud of his alma mater, for consistently being in the top 20 medical schools in the country, and for being in the top 2 among schools of Public Health. Dr. Hindes also attended UNC-Chapel Hill for his undergraduate degree - Bachelor of Science in Biology, with Highest Honors.
Dr. Hindes taught at the University of Denver 1998-2011, in the department of Public Policy, in both the undergraduate and the graduate programs. He taught two main topics:
- The American Health Care System. Students compare the U.S. to other nations in terms of health care cost, quality , access, and convenience. The history of the U.S. system, its strengths and weaknesses, are reviewed.
- The Skills of Critical Analysis. Dr. Hindes' background is in “evidence-based medicine”, which follows specific principles of evaluating the relative strength of data and the conclusions drawn from it. He has translated these principles into “evidence-based public policy”. He has written a book on the subject Think For Yourself.
