Quality Primary Care for the Entire Family

Comprehensive Health Care Services for Patients of All Ages

What types of patients do Dr. Hindes and Lily Juan see?

This is family medicine, so we often see more than one member of any given family, although rules of confidentiality require that information not be shared about one family member with another unless explicitly allowed.

We see all ages, for very typical problems:

  • Toddlers 3 years and older, well child checks, and attention to acute injury and illness.

  • Young people who need Pap smears, sports physicals, cholesterol checks, and birth control.

  • Middle aged patients concerned about their risks for heart disease, cancer, arthritis, and many other issues that can be treated with preventative care and regular visits to your primary care physician.

  • Parents and grandparents who need help dealing with stress from work, chronic pain, multiple medications, and organization of care that may involve several different specialists.

Problems that we address every day include these, plus many more that are the nature of primary care:

  • High blood pressure

  • Overweight

  • Fatigue

  • High cholesterol

  • Indigestion/Reflux

  • Birth control

  • Skin lesions

  • Arthritis / joint pain

  • Back pain

  • Allergies

  • Cough / colds / ear infections / sore throat

  • Headaches

  • Urinary tract infections

  • Depression, anxiety, insomnia, stress

  • Testing for sexually transmitted diseases

  • Abdominal pain

  • Chest pain

  • Complete physical exams / health maintenance / illness prevention

Dr. Hindes and Lily prescribe narcotics such as oxycodone and sedatives such as alprazolam to very select patients for specific reasons according to medical guidelines. If a patient is expecting such medications long-term, without active use of other non-pharmacologic treatments, and without an eye to reducing those medicines to zero-or-occasional when possible, then we will refer you to a pain specialist to see if they are more comfortable prescribing that way.
